Q.What are your business hours?

They can use over 100 stations. Please check   our station map. All stations are open 24 hours every day except for the following stations.

<1 day Pass>
You can buy 1-day pass at (A-01.HUBchari Secretariat/B-02 America-mura). You can use bikes at same stations of HUBchari member.
*Deposit will be refunded at these 2 stations within 1 month.

Q.Do you have to be a certain age or height to ride?

A.Our bike seats are adjustable.You must be taller than 145cm to ride comfortably.

Q.Do you rent out bikes for children?

A.Currently,children's bikes are not available.

Q.Do you offer bike helmets/child seats?

A.Currently, bike helmets and child seats are not available.

Q.How many bikes and stations are there?

A.<HUBchari Members>
You can check how many bikes are available at each station after registration.

<Cash Members>
Normally, we allocate at least 2 bike to each station.However there is a possibility that there are no available bikes on weekends and holidays.
In that case, it is possible to reserve bikea in advance at the HUBchari Secretariat. Please make bike reservations by 12pm of the day before.

Q.Can I rent an electric bike by cash?

A.Only at limited stations you can rent a electric bike by cash. Just walk up and get a 1day-Pass at A-01 HUBchari secretariat or B-2 America-mura station.

Q. What should I do if I lose my key?

A.<1 day Pass Holders>
Key deposits will be forfeited in the case of lost/stolen keys.If you lose a key whilst temporarily parked,please call 0120−116−819 immediately.Please press "2" twice after voice guidance.

<Cash Members>
Please pay ¥3,000 for the replacement of a key.

Q.What should I do if the bike gets a flat tire or is damaged?

Q.What should I do if the bike is stolen?

A.<HUBchari Members / 1 day pass holders>
Please call us on 0120−116−819 for immediate assistance.(Please press "2" twice after voice guidance.) You may be responsible for the recovery fee or replacement of the bike.

<Cash Members>
Please call 070-5436-2892 for immediate assistance. You may be responsible for the recovery fee or replacement of the bike.

Q.What should I do if my bike is removed by the city?

A.Please call 070-5436-2892 for immediate assistance. Please pay fee to retrieve an impounded bike by city government ¥10,000(in Osaka city / tax excluded).

Q.Can I rent a bike for a full day or longer hours?

A.<HUBchari Members>
We ask that you return the bike within one day, otherwise the battery may run out completely.

<1 day Pass Holders>
Return the bike by 23:59. If you would like your deposit back, visit the specified stations during their business hours. If you want to rent a bike for 2 days, please buy 2 days passes.

<Cash Members>
Contact us if you want to use the bike for multiple days (up to 7 days).

Q.What should I do if I am involved in an accident?

A.<HUBchari Members / 1 day pass Holders>
1) Call 110 (police) to report the accident. If anyone appears to be injured, call 911 immediately.
2 )Call the HUBchari office on 0120-116-819.Please press "2" twice after voice guidance.

Q.How do I rent a HUBchari bike?

A.To rent a bike, register at our website and enter the passcode on the control panel on the bike. HUBchari bikes are available at HUBchari stations.

Q.How do I return a bike?

A.To end your trip, park at a HUBchari station and lock it. Press ENTER on the panel. You will receive a confirmation message.

Q.What should I do if I returned the bike but forgot to lock it?

A.If you have forgotten to lock the bike and cannot return to do so, please contact the HUBchari Office on 070-5436-2892 immediately.

Q.I need to return my bike, but the station is full.

A. If there are no available bike racks at the station, park the bike between bike racks or in front of the sign board.

Q. I returned the bike but I cannot proceed with the return process (panel is showing ERROR)

A.Wait 5 seconds and try again. If you fail to proceed, follow this procedure:
1) Make sure you the bike is parked properly.
2) Make sure you lock the rear wheel lock.
If you are still having problems, call 0120-116-819.
Please press "2" twice after voice guidance.

Q.I entered the incorrect password 3 times and it says "A001".

A.Wait a few minutes and try again.

Q.What should I do if the battery runs out?

A.If the battery runs out completely, you will not be able to open/lock the bike.
In this case, contact the HUBchari Office on 070-5436-2892 immediately. We may charge an additional collection fee (¥10,800 within Osaka city) If you do not return the bike at one of our stations.

Q.Can I rent a bike for multiple days?

A.All users are asked to return the bike within 1 day, as the battery may run out completely.
If you wish to use the bike for multiple days, inform the hotel/accommodation you are staying at that you would like to use their parking space.
If we are asked to collect a bike from a hotel/accommodation, we will collect the bike accordingly but you may incur a ¥10,800 charge.

Q.What if a bike I start to rent has a problem?

A.If you rent a bike and it has a problem, you may return the bike. After proceeding with the return process, rent a new bike. There will be no extra charge.

Q.What does the error code mean on the control panel display?
(E001、E002、E003、A002、A005、A006、A007)

A. If you see these error codes on the display, the bike is currently out of service. If you see these error codes during your ride, contact 0120-116-819 for assistance. Please press "2" twice after voice guidance.

Q.Can I reserve a bike in advance?

A.Yes, you can.However only 20 minutes before you rent.If you don't use a bike within 20 minutes, your reservation will be cancelled automatically.

Q.Can I cancel my reservation?

A.If you don't use a bike within 20 minutes,your reservation will be cancelled automatically.

Q.Can I change my payment plan?

A.If you are already a HUBchari Member, it is possible to change your plan. However the change will only apply from your next onwards. Alternatively, you can make new account with a new plan (not while in use).

Q.Can I rent multiple bikes?

A.You can only rent one bike at one time on your account. All users must have their own account in order to rent a bike. However, you can use the same credit card on multiple accounts.

Q.How long can I ride on one battery charge?

A.You can run about 7.5km with a full battery. Be careful not to completely drain the battery or you will not be able to ride the bike anymore. We also will not replace the bike or the battery.
